Parents,
WieFit is putting on an S4 camp in June. I'd like for the girls to attend if possible. I will be having 5 trainers attending--all excellent. We just hired Alex Dean who was an all-star at Highlands (1st team all-state), who starts for Thomas Moore and was just named 2nd team All-PAC, along with a page of other soccer accomplishments. Sydney Hiance (4 year starter at UK) and Stephanie Graves (all time leading scorer and assist leader at Highlands, along with 2 years as a NKU starter and 2 years Moorehead State starter) both also have a book of soccer accomplishments--they will also be there all 5 days. I will have WieFit Athletic Trainer, Ryan Ball, running the Athletic Training Portion (Exercise Science Bachelor degree from Georgetown University, and WieFit trainer for the past 1.5 years).
As you can see, we believe this is going to be a top notch camp. The girls are invited to attend at NO CHARGE. I just need to know how many will be showing up (organizing this without knowing numbers is a task...).
If siblings want to attend, it is 50% off (sorry, I have to pay these trainers per head, so our team will already put me behind...!).
All I ask is that you and/or your daughter pass along information on this camp. I have brochure's; I've sent out emails (I'm guessing you all got), I have it up on my website, Facebook, etc.
I will bring brochures to our practice Thursday and give 10 to each girl--If you need more, let me know--I jsut ask they do not go to waste, as full color brochures are costly. If each girl could pass these out to friends, that would be appreciated. I would like if each girl attending could do their best to be responsible for at least one person signing up. BUT, if that doesn't happen, I STILL want our team to be there. Please think of creative ways to get this info out (Facebook, Siblings Teams, Email, Handing out the brochures at soccer parks, etc.).
Our team needs to get back on the "skill" wagon. We aren't using 1 v 1 moves as much as we used to. A lot of our girls aren't showing the confidence with the ball as they had at one time. For example, I yelled "skill" to Danielle when she recieved the ball, and she quickly used a simple scissors and left her defender in the dust. I want this to come natural again.
We also need to get these girls stronger. We got pushed off the ball all week. Thank goodness we were more skilled than the other teams, because we definately weren't winning the physical battle! This Athletic Training will help!
Hope to see all the girls there!, and any help in promoting this is more than appreciated!
Thanks,
Brian
