Ladies Step 2, CHECK!

Continuing with Brian’s post below. You all played disciplined, simple, smart soccer today. You played a team that lacked skill but had more speed and strength, several of you will be bruised tonight but I think you all had fun. SKILLED DISIPLINED SOCCER beats brute strength and speed.

Defense, you listened to Olivia and had her involved in the game. It looked like you passed back to her more than 10 times today. Olivia you did a great job telling the defense where to place the pass and then distributing the ball. Continuing to work on this skill will serve the team well during the spring season.

Passing sequences were awesome. We had several that were more than 5 passes and a few that even ended with a give and go. Heads were up and passes were more definitive. You are all continuing to see space better and move to that space. I heard a lot of talking on the field today.

Thank you all for keeping your heads in the game even when you were in the box. You were ready at any moment to go back into the game and you understood the flow of the game supporting your teammates.
